Join us for an Industry Day that brings together unique industry business leaders and representatives to collaborate with DLA representatives on meeting warfighter needs.
Presenters:
John Henley is the Associate Director of Small Business Programs at DLA Aviation in Richmond Virginia. His office implements and administers DLA Aviation’s socioeconomic programs for Small Business including Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, and HUBZone Small Business. DLA Aviation annually awards over $1 billion in small business contracts supporting the warfighter’s aviation parts requirements. Crystal Ober is the Deputy Director of the Small Business program at DLA Aviation. In her 30 years at DLA Aviation, she has served as a Small Business Specialist, Supervisory Contract Specialist, and a Contract Specialist. She implements initiatives in support of DLA Aviation’s socioeconomic programs for Small Business including Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small business, and HUBZone Small Business. Kevin Minter is the Team Lead for Woman-owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small business programs at DLA Aviation. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in Acquisition in the military and DLA-Aviation as a Contract Specialist, Supervisor and Team Lead. He monitors the Source Approval Request (SAR) program for new manufacturers and the Subcontracting Plans at DLA-Aviation. Allen Ellery is a Small Business Specialist in the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) at DLA Aviation and has served as a Supervisory Contract Specialist and a Contract Specialist prior to moving to the Small Business Office. He is the current Program Manager for the Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB) and AbilityOne Programs for DLA Aviation and assists in the implementation of DLA Aviation’s socioeconomic programs. He is retired from the US Army, where his prior assignments included Weapons Systems, Installation (PCO) and Contingency (ACO) Contracting.
