What: Made to Grow: Cybersecurity Training for Manufacturers

Join us for a free virtual workshop to learn more about the federal resources available to help protect your company against cyber-attacks. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) will be on hand to provide training on Cybersecurity and Counterintelligence, specifically for manufacturers and exporters.

Cyber and insider threats pose significant risks to organizations, networks, and critical infrastructure. Cyber threats involve malicious activities that compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data, often executed by external actors but sometimes involving insiders who exploit their access. The insider threat refers to the potential for individuals with authorized access to harm their organization, either intentionally or unintentionally. These threats are significant concerns for both cybersecurity and counterintelligence.

In this training, participants will receive valuable insights from Federal agencies responsible for cybersecurity and counterintelligence initiatives. These initiatives focus on addressing advanced threat actors and managing the evolving threat landscape. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our presenters by asking questions and discussing concerns related to cyber and insider threats. Our presenters will share effective strategies for asset protection and threat mitigation.

    What: Creating Winning Proposals

Suppose you’re scrolling through the various government sites such as SAM.gov and you see an enticing government announcement for vendors to place bids.

Winning a bid on a government contract can be a new beginning for your business. However, to win this bid, you must place a near-perfect proposal.

A winning proposal is more than just words on paper.

For instance, one successful bid will most likely improve your business’s chances of being considered for future government opportunities.

But what does it take to write a contract proposal? How can you write a contract proposal that is compliant, meets all the specific requirements, and distinguishes your company over the competition?

As a result of your participating in this workshop, you will be able to:

    • Identify contract opportunities that are realistic for you
    • Understand how the government describes what it needs
    • Prepare responsive and effective proposals
    • Improve your chances of winning government contracts

Who: NIWC Atlantic and the Palmetto Tech Bridge in collaboration with PEO MLB

What: Prize Challenge focused on Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing (AIAT)

The Program Executive Office Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB), in partnership with NIWC Atlantic and the Palmetto Tech Bridge, Prize Challenge is seeking submissions for the following topic Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing (AIAT). This prize challenge is under 10 U.S.C. § 4025 and is considered an independent effort. However, the results of this prize challenge may result in an additional follow-on acquisition opportunity.

The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Palmetto Tech Bridge (PTB), in collaboration with the PEO MLB, are seeking solutions for leveraging AI to revolutionize testing and evaluation processes. The Program Executive Office Manpower Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing (AIAT) initiative aims to address the challenges of traditional automation processes and tool capabilities, which relies on very detailed human intervention to develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts. This leads to significant costs, delays, and inefficiencies.

We're seeking innovative solutions that utilize AI to automatically generate test scripts from known requirements and then perform test execution, test reporting, and automation script updates based on system changes. The ideal solution should conform to Risk Management Framework (RMF), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework and Department of Defense Impact Level 4 (IL4) accreditation requirements. Integrate seamlessly with a variety of existing DevSecOps tools and pipelines and be scalable across multiple platforms and environments with the Department of Navy.

    When:

    • Phase 1 submissions are due Friday, October 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM ET
    • The top 5 competitors (plus one alternate) will advance to Phase 2
    • Phase 2 will consist of In-Person Oral Presentations at the CDCA Eastern Defense Summit, December 10-11, 2025
    • The top 3 competitors will be announced on the final day of the Summit and will each receive a monetary prize
